The Polish company FAMUR SA will supply a longwall system to the Russian ‘Chertinskaya-Koksovaya’ Mine belonging to OOO ‘MMK - UGOL’. The contract value amounts to EUR 17.5 million.
FAMUR SA will provide the Russian client with powered roof supports, a shearer loader, an armoured face conveyor and a beam stage loader with a crusher as well as additional equipment. Longwall system intended for shearer loader – based exploitation of coal deposits is to be delivered to Russia by July this year.

The ‘Chertinskaya-Koksovaya’ mine is located in the town of Belovo in Kemerovo Oblast, and together with the ‘Kostromovskaya’ mine it belongs to OOO ‘MMK-UGOL’. Last year, the facilities associated with the company reached the ROM of approx. 3.4 million tonnes of coal and generated 2.8 million tonnes of concentrated coal, as shown in the data of MMK Group.
