The FAMUR Group and Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa, with the active participation of Jastrzębskie Zakłady Remontowe and JSW Innovation, are opening the door to cooperation in the development of innovative technical and technological solutions that increase efficiency and enable the monitoring of the coal extraction process in underground mines, while simultaneously improving work safety. As part of the cooperation, the two companies are also interested in the possibility of offering services with regard to the jointly developed solutions in order to enable access to the results of work for the largest possible number of people. The cooperation agreement results from the complementary nature of the two companies and its main goal is the development and promotion of Polish technological thought in the field of underground mining.
– Focusing on increasing the efficiency of mining and automating this process while increasing the safety of people working in hazardous areas, we strive for the creation of an Intelligent Mine consistent with the assumptions of the Industry 4.0 concept. The FAMUR Group is working with customers in over 40 countries on five continents and the share of exports in revenues is approx. 40%. Currently, the Company is receiving comprehensive contracts in Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Mexico and Argentina. In the near future, it is planned to develop sales in markets such as Australia, China, India, USA or Canada.
